Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old girl with aggravated assault in relation to an incident at Corner Brook Regional High School.
There was a physical altercation between two females. The victim had her throat sliced. Although police have not the incident.
The victim is in hospital.
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and paramedics from Western Health were called to the school at 8:40 a.m.
There is no immediate word on the student's condition.
