Motorists take note that Prince Philip Drive will close at 7 PM tonight so crews can decommission the pedway at Memorial University.
The pedway was erected years ago after a student was killed. The pedway has become decrepit.
The impacted area is Allandale Road to Westerland Road.
Motorists traveling in the area will be detoured to Elizabeth Avenue.
The area will reopen at 5 PM Sunday.
