UK to Leave European Union. David Cameron Resigns #Brexit

David Cameron official.jpgPrime Minister David Cameron says he will resign by the Fall after voters across the United Kingdom voted 51.9% to leave and 48.1% to remain in the European Union.

The leave side won just after 6am, as it became clear that nothing could swing the vote back in favor of the Remain campaign.

As a result of the vote global markets plunged on Friday. The British pound fell to a three-decade low as more counting areas reported their results.

The vote had a turnout of 72 percent of the more than 46 million registered voters.

Vote to leave the European Union could destabilize 28-nation trading bloc, created from ashes of WW II.
