The RNC say that the discovery of a man's body in Kelligrews began as a home invasion where the man had been abducted in Conception Bay South.'Masked, armed individuals' forced the man from his home.
It all began when police responded to a call about the man being forced from his home. When they arrived the house was on fire.
The body was discovered shortly after 8:00 Saturday morning.
No cause of death has been determined.
Police are warning the public that the assailants are "believed to be armed and dangerous."
