Canada Post has issued a 72 hour lockout notice to employees.The corporation said it could suspend its collective agreement as soon as Friday. A move that would send 50,000 postal workers to the picket lines.
Canada Post says that the notice does not necessarily mean mail service will stop on Friday. It said that the measure would allow the corporation to, "Take measures that are necessary to respond to the changing business reality."
