Dogs Left Inside Hot Vehicle

Police in St. John's have ticketed a driver under the Animal Health Protection Act after leaving two dogs inside a hot vehicle.

On Sunday around 3 p.m., the RNC received a call about two boxers in a hot car.

A woman was attempting to feed the dogs in the car when police arrived.

The responding officer unlocked the vehicle through a crack in the window and put the dogs in her air conditioned car.

The dogs were in the vehicle from 30 to 45 minutes.
