Elizabeth May will stay on as Leader of the Green Party.This comes after the party passed a controversial motion that supported the Boycott Divestment Sanction movement that is protesting Israeli policy.
The party will hold a special meeting to reconsider the motion.
May is presently an MP for Saanich—Gulf Islands.
She became Leader of the Green Party on August 26, 2006.
May says she will focus on electoral reform.
