150 people working for Nalcor have been off the job for over two months and they are still receiving a paycheck.
Nalcor said that employees were sent home after a problem with the transmission line were discovered. The employees are on standby.
Nalcor said the decision to keep paying the employees was to ensure that trained workers ready to quickly start work.
