The owner of Jiffy Cabs Tom Hollet has died.
He was killed in a motorcycle accident in Harbour Mille on the Burin Peninsula.
The female passenger is in hospital.
Jiffy Cabs is the largest taxi service company in the province and are famously known for their trademark yellow cabs. They currently have over a hundred cars and two hundred fifty cabbies.
