RCMP in Carbonear has charged 26-year-old Adam Janes after the man allegedly committed an armed robbery at Noel's convenience store.Janes faces a charge of armed robbery.
A hypodermic needle was the item used in the robbery. The suspect made off with about $500 in cash.
Janes consented to remand custody. He will be back in court on Monday.
