It turned out to be a sleepless night for many in Newfoundland as thunderstorms roared across the Island from coast to coast.
Areas along the south coast were hit the hardest. Heavy rain also accompanied the thunderstorms.
Many exclaimed on social media how loud the thunder was at points.
