The gunman barricaded himself inside his mobile home. The police officers were shot while on the man's property.
One deputy is in critical condition and the police chief is also hospitalized.
It happened when police got a call around 7:15 a.m. about a domestic disturbance.
The Gunman has been identified as 34-year-old Billy Jones.
Police tried to move in on the standoff Wednesday morning but retreated when Jones again opened fire. Police do not know if anyone else is inside.
Jones is armed with a semi-automatic weapon.
