The Federal and Provincial Government invested funds into The Genesis Centre on Thursday.
The Genesis Centre is a business incubator at Memorial University that helps start-ups through existing and new programming.
Premier Dwight Ball and MP Nick Whalen announced funding at an event at the centre. The Government of Canada, through ACOA's Business Development Program, will invest $1.35 million over three years, while the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will contribute $325,000 for this operating year.
