Police say that there has been an increase in the number of break, enters and thefts that have been occurring in the Corner Brook area since early December.
They also ask that the public report any activity which is out of the ordinary and which may be suspicious. As well, business owners are reminded to ensure that their property is locked and well secured; that there is adequate exterior lighting and good interior lighting ensuring that the interior of the building is visible; and that any video surveillance systems and alarm systems are in good working order.
