It was reported that staff at a business in the Murphy Square area observed a male stealing merchandise from their business.
As a result of an investigation, a 20-year-old male resident of Stephenville was arrested and charged with Theft under $5000 and Breach of Undertaking.
The accused was held in custody and will appear in Provincial Court on today.
