Newfoundland got pounded last night with snow that has closed many schools and CNA locations across the province, Mun and the Marine Institute has also been impacted.
Last nights system was just a precursor to what is expected later today and tomorrow. This low is expected to be stronger than the first.
Snow begins along the west coast this evening. All areas will see snow before morning. Snow begins to taper off by noon on Friday with the exception of the west coast.
Very strong winds are expected across much of Western and Central Newfoundland as well which will give blizzard conditions.
Schools in Metro and the Avalon along with central schools, along with MUN and the College of the North Atlantic are closed for the morning at least.
Metrobus service is delayed along with The Avalon Mall.
A third system is the weakest and will hit on Sunday with rain and snow expected.
