Corner Brook Crime Beat
Police have been busy over the long weekend.
RNC seized the driver's license from a novice female driver due to having alcohol in her blood. Police conducted a traffic stop around 2:30 this morning on West Street and discovered the woman had a blood alcohol level of 80 mg. As a result she was issued an immediate suspension. Novice drivers in the province are prohibited from having any alcohol in their system.
There was also a break-in on Premier Drive shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The building is vacant.
Police also responded to a complaint of an attempted break-in at an unoccupied home on Charles Street.
No arrests have been made.
