Man Facing Several Charges on Northern Peninsula

The RCMP and the Department of Justice Inland Fish and Wildlife Enforcement arrested a 57-year-old man from Sandy Cove and slapped the man with a number of charges.

He will answer to charges of driving a motor vehicle while prohibited, assault on a peace officer, three counts of resisting arrest, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, and two counts of breaching probation.

The man will appear in court today. The investigation is ongoing.
