RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay is investigating what they deem a suspicious fire that killed and 88-year-old female. She was pronounced dead at the scene.The major-crime unit is headed to the area from Corner Brook.
About 1:30 a.m. the blaze broke out on Roberts Road.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
