Department of Justice Committed to Inquiry #nlpoli

Justice Minister Andrew Parsons says that the Department of Justice is committed to calling a full public inquiry into the shooting death of Donny Dunphy.

At a news conference today the RCMP said there are no grounds to lay criminal charges into the incident.

No details have been released on the cost or time that the inquiry will be launched.

In April of 2015 Donald Dunphy was shot and killed in his home by an RNC member of the Premier's security detail.

The officer was investigating perceived threats made on Twitter.
