RNC Warning Public Following Sexual Assault Complaints #nltraffic

The RNC is issuing an advisory to the public after reports of three sexual assaults brought to their attention on September 8, 2016.

Police say that adult females with special needs (aged between 42 and 63 years old) say that they were sexually assaulted by a male in the area of the Foxtrap Access Road in Conception Bay South.

The three incidents are believed to have occurred between Monday and Thursday of this week.

The man was driving a gray 4-door car. The Caucasian male suspect was described to police as being between 40-60 years old with dark hair and a slim build.

Police are asking the public to be vigilant and report all suspicious activity to police immediately.

While three of the reported incidents involved women with special needs, the RNC is asking that all women in the area be aware of these complaints.

The CASA Unit is continuing to investigate these complaints and is asking that anyone who has information call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
