Possible Break and Entry at Pharmacy in St. John’s

Yesterday morning around 7:40 AM, RNC received a report of a possible Break and Entry in progress, from a concerned citizen, at a Pharmacy in the center city area of St. John’s.

When police arrived they discovered the suspect leaving the area in a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the suspect detained.

Police have issued a 24 hour driving suspension to the 25 year old male driver.

He has a blood alcohol concentration greater than .50mg/100ml of blood. The 24 year old male passenger in the same vehicle, a resident of St. John’s, was arrested for Mischief (property damage), Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (Animal Repellant) and Breach of Court Orders.
He was held for court.
