Premier Dwight Ball held his "The Way Forward: Shaping Our Future" event at The Rooms on Tuesday.The goal was to engage representatives from the business, labour, community and arts sectors about initiatives aimed at restoring fiscal balance while achieving better outcomes from programs and services.
The event represents a step in a public engagement process that began in January aimed at finalizing a vision for all future actions by the Provincial Government.
Government wants to reduce government spending and stimulate the economy, address trends that have a negative impact on economic growth, and drive up government spending, and create the long-term conditions necessary for growth and prosperity in the province.
