RNC in St. John's responded to a Domestic Disturbance in the area of Empire Avenue on Monday.
A 31-year-old male was arrested and charged with Property Damage, Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Unlawfully in a Dwelling, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public, Resisting Arrest, and Assaulting a Police Officer.
He was held in custody and will make a court appearance in this morning.
