On October 30 RNC in Corner Brook responded to a disturbance inside a home in the Westside area of the city.
A 43 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
The victim, a 33 year old female, sustained what is believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The man was released on conditions and will appear in Court in January.
