Premier Dwight Ball announced last night that flooding of the Muskrat Falls reservoir has begun.
The flooding will bring water levels anywhere from 22.5 to 25 metre's.
The Nunatsiavut Government, NunatuKavut Community Council, and the Innu Nation all say that they had reviewed engineering reports.
Ontario-based engineering firm Hatch will access inflow forecasting for Muskrat Falls flood management. The company has been hired by Nalcor.
