Snow will move across Newfoundland beginning this afternoon. Across the south coast and the Avalon snow will likely become mixed with, or change to rain.
The heaviest snowfall is expected on the southwest coast where amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
Wind will be gusty also, especially in the Wreckhouse area where gusts up to 100 km/h are expected this afternoon and this evening.
