Newfoundland and Labrador will be the only province in Canada to face a recession next year according to The Conference Board.
The Board said that the provincial budget is a factor.
Finance Minister Cathy Bennett disagrees. Bennett said that the measures in the budget were necessary to bring down the deficit.
