A man from Deer Lake has been handed a hefty fine.
The man was charged with operating a snowmobile in a National Park, obstructing a peace officer, and failure to stop for a peace officer.
He was given a fine of $1,000 on Friday in Corner Brook Court.
The incident happened over a year ago on May 2, 2015.
