RCMP in Nova Scotia are investigating a collision between a train and pedestrians in Lantz.
Two teenage girls were killed after a rain collided with the two females who were on the track.
Police responded around 1:40 a.m. last night.
A 17-year-old from Lantz and an 18-year-old international exchange student from Germany, who is residing in Lantz, were pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP and CN Rail investigators will be at the scene throughout the day conducting an investigation into the cause of this tragic incident.
