
The RCMP is seeking assistance to identify suspect in suspicious incident that happened in Port Blandford.
Clarenville RCMP say that just before 1:00 p.m. on August 15 they received a report that a 10-year-old boy had been approached by a man in a black Chrysler sedan. The boy immediately ran to the nearby fire hall and called his mother. The man did not leave the vehicle.
The suspect is described as being white, tall with a thin build and a pale complexion and approximately 35-years-old. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt with the word “Hurley” printed on the front. The man wore dark, round prescription-style sunglasses.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a black Chrysler 300 sedan with tinted windows, chrome rims, a spoiler and a loud muffler.
