RNC Catch Thieves Red-Handed
At 4:30 a.m. RNC Patrol Services received a complaint of suspicious activity on Elizabeth Street in Corner Brook.
RNC received a report of a male walking down the road pushing a snow blower. A pickup truck was observed leaving the area with the snow blower aboard.
It was determined that the snow blower had been stolen from a residential property on Elizabeth Street.
As a result, two males were arrested as in this incident. A 17-year-old male was charged with Public Mischief for providing police with a false identity, Theft under $5000 and Breach of Probation. The second male, a 26-year-old male, was charged with Theft under $5000.
The property was returned to the owner.
Both males will appear at court in Corner Brook in February 2017.
