
An area of low pressure is expected to pass over southern Newfoundland and the Avalon on Tuesday bringing snow to the Island.
Snow will start as early as midnight tonight along the south coast.
There is a chance that along the south coast snow may become mixed with rain.
The heaviest snow is expected on the Avalon and Burin with amounts of 10 to 15 cm possible, locally 20 cm may fall.
Snowfall Forecast:
St. John's: 15 to 20 cm
Gander: 5 to 10 cm
Corner Brook: 3 to 6 cm
