The History of Cupids

Townofcupids.jpg

Cupids are the oldest continuously settled official British colony in Canada.

The area is popular with tourists for its rich history.

The town was established by Englishman John Guy in 1610. Cupids is also believed to be the site of the first child born of European parents on the entire continent.

Opened in 2010, the Cupids Legacy Centre features a museum, archeology lab, Faerie Garden, Family History archive, Legacy Hall, and a spacious boardroom.

Throughout the years the town has also been known as Coopers, Copers Cove, Cupers Cove, and Cuperts.
