The Sir Richards Squires Building, located on Mount Bernard Avenue in Corner Brook, is the tallest building in Corner Brook.
Construction began in 1967 and was completed a year later in 1968.
The building houses several government departments that serve the west coast of Newfoundland.
The building is named after Sir Richard Squires, who was prime minister of Newfoundland from 1909 t0 1932.
