On Monday just before midnight, RNC officers with Patrol Services Division, Criminal Investigation Division, and Forensic Identification Services responded to a report of an armed robbery at Ultramar on Blackmarsh Road in St. John's.
RNC say that a lone male suspect armed with a weapon entered the store and demanded cash before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no injuries.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5’6” in height, 160-165 lbs, and having a light coloured goatee. At the time of the incident the suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a black ball cap with a red logo.
