Premier Dwight Ball is in Ottawa today. The Premier will lay a wreath at the National War Memorial in Ottawa representing the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
He will be joined by Governor General David Johnston, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of Defence Kent Hehr and other dignitaries in laying wreaths and in viewing the march past of veterans.
Following the ceremony, the Premier and Minister Hehr will host the showing of the documentary, Trail of the Caribou at the National Arts Centre. The film, featuring Mark Critch and Allan Hawco, was produced by CBC St. John's and televised on July 1, 2016 - the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Beaumont Hamel.
